The Chamberlain student portal has been developed to provide all academic and learning-related resources to students. Students can access their online learning classroom and check their courses and assignments after login in. In order to make the login process secure, students must follow the below-mentioned basic guidelines.
- Students must register on their student portal and create a new username and password.
- Students must arrange the correct URL to access the login page.
- Students must use a trusted or personal device to access their accounts.
- All browsers or apps students will use must be the latest and updated.
Step 1: Students can visit the official website https://www.chamberlain.edu/.
Step 2: A student portal link is available at the footer of the website. Click this link to open the Chamberlain community page (as shown below).

Step 3: Click the Student Login link from the given options. It will open the login page of the student portal.
Step 4: Now enter the username and password of your student account and press the Sign In button to access the student dashboard page.
Note: Chamberlain University is using the Okta on-demand service to log in to the student account. The benefit of this service is that a single login allows students to log in to all applications offered by Chamberlain University. It works similarly to single-sign-on. After login, students will find a list of applications, and all applications are accessible in a new browser window with just a click without the need for further login.
How to reset the password?
In case a student is not able to access the student portal and gets the password error then a password reset facility is available. Please check the below steps to reset the password.
Step 1 – Open the My Chamberlain Community page and click the Get Login Help link just below the login options.
Step 2 – On the next screen, the student will find a login support page (as shown below).
Click the I need to reset my password link.
Step 3 – You will get two options to reset your password.
- If you are logging in with your Chamberlain ID (D#).
- If you don’t have a ChamberlainID (D#).
a-Click the first password reset link if you have your Chamberlain ID. A password reset screen will appear on the screen (as shown below)
Enter your email or username in the given field and click any one button from the Reset via SMS or Reset via email. You will get a password reset link via SMS or Email as per your selection. Click the password reset link and create a new password for your student account.
b-Click the second password reset link if you don’t have Chamberlain ID. A password screen will appear on the screen.
On the next page, enter your email address and click the Reset Password button. You’ll soon receive an email from the [email protected] email address including the password reset instructions. Read the instructions and create a new password.
Note: Please check your spam or junk folder also if you don’t get the email in your inbox.
How to recover the username?
Please follow the below steps.
Step 1: Visit the My Chamberlain community page and click the Get Login Help link.
Step 2: On the help page, click the I don’t know my username link and again click the username recovery link. A username recovery form will appear on the screen (as shown below).
Step 3: In this username recovery form, enter the last name, last four digits of the social security number, and date of birth. Complete the captcha verification and press the Submit button. You will get an email including your username.
Students can register a new account online through the official website. Visit the My Chamberlain community page and click the Register for My Chamberlain button.
Enter your First name, Last name, and Email address, and press the Sign Up button. Complete the registration process with the help of the on-screen instructions.

Click the Go to Class available on the left sidebar of your student dashboard page. Students will see the Classroom dashboard page powered by Canvas where some useful links are mentioned on the left sidebar (check below).
All course-related important information is available in the Courses section. Students can visit this section and check their syllabus, modules, people details, grades, etc.
Students can also use communication facilities to connect with the professor and classmates and participate in the discussion. Students can access different discussion topics and submit their responses online.
Assignments – Students can visit the Assignment section to submit an assignment. Students can also use the Turnitin plagiarism checker tool to make the assignment plagiarism free.
Grades – Students can view and print the grades by visiting the Grades section. Students can measure their academic performance through their discussions, papers, and other activities.
The calendar tab in the Courses section of your Canvas Classroom allows students to plan and schedule their assignments and tasks. Students can categorize their tasks and set reminders for upcoming activities. This Canvas calendar can be synced with other applications such as Google Calendar, or Outlook.

If you are a new student and a first-time user accessing your student portal then there is a default password every student can use.
i- If you received your login credentials on or after 07/01/2021:
Your default password will be “[email protected] Month (3 digits)-Year”.
If a student was born in February 1991 then the password will be: “[email protected]”.
If a student was born in November 1985 then the password will be: “[email protected]”.
Note: Password is case-sensitive.
i- If you received your login credentials on or before 06/30/2021:
Your default password will be “Month of birth (3 digits)-year”.
If a student was born in April 1987 then the password will be: “Apr-1987”.
