What is FISD Canvas?<\/h2>\n\n\n
FISH simply refers to Frisco Independent School District which is a Frisco-based school district. It was formerly known as Farmers School District formed in 1876. In 1902 it was renamed Frisco ISD or FISD. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Frisco Independent School District currently has 11 high schools, 17 middle schools, 42 elementary schools, and 3 special program centers. Currently, more than 65000 students are studying in FISD. <\/p>\n\n\n

Canvas is an online Learning Management System (LMS) developed by Instructure, Inc. Canvas provides many learning tools and facilities that help educators provide interactive and modern online learning solutions to K-12 students. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
It offers 24-hour availability inspired by a modern approach to learning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to log in on Canvas FISD?<\/h2>\n\n\n
The login process is very simple and can be completed easily within minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Step 1:<\/strong> The very first step is to find your canvas login URL for your school. Open the official website https:\/\/www.friscoisd.org\/<\/a> and click the Student link.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Step 2:<\/strong> Click the Canvas Home link, and you will be redirected to the Canvas login page of Frisco ISD. You can also visit the login page directly at https:\/\/fisd.instructure.com\/login\/ldap<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n

Find Canvas URL via course invitation<\/strong>: If you receive a course invitation then you will find a Get Started link there. Click that link to directly visit the login page.<\/p>\n\n\n
Canvas registration<\/h2>\n\n\n
It is possible that your registration process is managed by your administrator and they share the canvas login details with you. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
if you don’t have an account then you will have to create a new account through the join code or secret code emailed to you by your instructor. After that, you can join a course.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to register as a parent?<\/h2>\n\n\n
There is a great feature of Canvas that parents can also observe their student’s progress. Parents must have an account on Canvas to have access to it. If you want to register as a parent then please follow the below steps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Step 1:<\/strong> Open the Canvas FISD login<\/a> page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Step 2:<\/strong> Click the Create New Parent Account link available at the top right corner of the login screen.<\/p>\n\n\n

Pairing codes can be generated by a student or the administrator who is managing the student account in a school. Pairing codes are used to connect a student and observer parent.<\/p>\n\n\n

Hac Frisco or Home Access Center offers different types of student reports, grades, attendance related information. HAC can be accessed through login on the HAC web page of the Frisco ISD. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Please visit the https:\/\/hac.friscoisd.org\/HomeAccess\/Account\/LogOn<\/a> link. You will see the FISD HAC login page. Enter your Username and password and click the Sign In<\/strong> button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
How will I find my HAC login information?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

- Students can directly log in with their FISD ID.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Guardians will have to create a Guardian Gateway ID (GID) on the Guardian Gateway page.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
How to create a Guardian Gateway ID?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

- Open the Guardian Gateway portal login page https:\/\/portal.friscoisd.org\/LoginPolicy.jsp<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Click the Request or Retrieve Gateway ID link.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- You will have to activate your student ID in your account. Fill in all required information and submit the form. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
- You will receive an email including login details.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Now again visit the Guardian login page and log in by using the information in the email.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
