National Testing Agency has shared a notification about the extension of the Common University Entrance Test CUET UG 2024 application submission last date. The last date to fill out the application form is extended from 31st March to 5th April 2024.
The decision to extend the last date is taken by considering the requests of candidates and inputs from other stakeholders. All candidates who were not able to submit their application form got another 5 days to submit their applications.
University Grants Commission has also shared this information on their X handle. UDC said, “UGC-NTA Update: Last date for CUET-(UG) 2024 is extended upto 5th April 2024 9.50 pm[1].”

New verification method:
Further, NTA has shared other information related to identity verification to log in and submit the online form.
as per the decision taken by the competent authority, candidates can now use their School/ Any other valid Govt. Identity Card with photograph to facilitate identification.
Candidates can opt for login and identification for the online submission form to register with the following options:
- Aadhar card
- Digi locker
- ABC ID
- Passport
- Pan Card
- School/ Any other valid Govt. Identity Card with a photograph.
Correction date:
The form correction date has also been extended. Now candidates can make corrections in their CUET UG 2024 form from 6th April to 7th April 2024.
Exam date:
The Common University Entrance Test for undergraduate students is scheduled to be conducted from May 15 to 31, 2024. Candidates can start their preparation accordingly. If there is any change in the CUET UG exam then we will update you about that.
Admit Card:
Admit cards will be released 1 week before the exam date. All information including the exam center, timing, and other details will be made available to candidates with the Admit card.

Tweet by NTA: The National Testing Agency again tweeted about the extension of the last date of CUET UG 2024 on its X handle. This tweet is just to remind candidates to submit their application form before 5th April 2024[4]. NTA has also clarified that any govt/academic ID is applicable to verify the identity.
