Stormont Vail Health Ask Patients to Update Mychart Information

Stormont Vail Health has started a health equity initiative “We Ask Because We Care” to advise their patients to update their Mychart accounts.

The main idea is to make patients aware of the importance of the up-to-date Stormont Vail Health Mychart information and how it helps them receive proper care.

Stormont Vail Health also shared about this initiative in a tweet from their X handle @StormontVail. Stormont Vail Health said, “Is your MyChart information up-to-date? The more complete your profile is, the more you help us understand our patients and the communities we serve.”[1]

A link to their website is also shared in the tweet where they have shared a few questions and answers about the ‘We Ask Because We Care’ initiative. Stormont Vail Health shared in the first FAQ, “We Ask Because We Care is a health equity initiative that will allow us to learn more about our patients and their backgrounds. Through this initiative, Stormont Vail Health patient services team members and health providers will ask patients questions about their demographics, like race and ethnicity.”2
