UDS Student Portal

UDS Student portal provides students access to their online learning resources, news and information about the university, important forms and academic materials, online learning facility, etc. Students can log in to their accounts by using their login credentials.

Student portal offers various services and features in an online mode that students can access anytime, anywhere 24/7. Students can also submit a complaint online through the student portal. It makes all the academic information available through quick access.

UDS Campus Manager Login

UDS Campus Manager provides students an opportunity to log in to their student account online and access important services such as checking examination results, registering for courses, booking accommodation, checking academic information, submitting admission applications, checking and paying required fees, etc.

UDS Campus Manager is also known as UCM Enterprise and students can access their account through the official web URL ucm.uds.edu.gh.

Please note that UCM Enterprise is a cloud-based software that has all the functionality students require including 24/7 access to student support services.

How to log in to UDS Campus Manager?

Once a student gets admission to the University for Development Studies, students also get an admission letter including the login credentials to access the UDS Enterprise portal. Students will get their UIN and password which will be used to access students account.

  • Visit the official web portal https://ucm.uds.edu.gh/.
  • Click the Login link to open the login page.
  • Enter your username (UIN) and password in the login form.
  • Press the Login button to access your UCM Enterprise account.

Note: After the first time login, students can change their password and create a new password as per their choice.

How students can register for courses?

Students can follow below simple steps below to register for courses on UCM Enterprise.

  1. Login to the UCM Campus Manager portal.
  2. Select the Academics Menu item and open the course registration section.
  3. Select the courses that you want to register.
  4. Submit your course preferences for registration.

How to Check UDS Examination Results?

Students can check their results through the UDS Campus Manager for the examination conducted by the University for Development Studies.

  1. Login to the UCM Campus Manager portal.
  2. Under the Academics menu item, students will find the results section.
  3. Click the Results section and check your results and academic performance.

  • You will need a passport photograph, an ACTIVE e‐mail address, and a mobile phone number. Recommended email accounts are the institutional email (@uds.edu.gh) or Gmail.
  • Provide your Student ID number and the default password 123456 on the sign page to start your account activation process.
  • Complete your account activation by providing the activation code that is delivered to your email address.
  • Note: If you have not received the activation code, RE‐SEND it or verify your e‐mail address at PROFILE SETTINGS (by clicking the << back to profile settings). You can also Skip this step by clicking if you want.

  • On the login page, enter your student ID and password
  • Enter the given security code.
  • Press the Sign In button to access your student account.

After Sign In

Check available courses to be registered in your program and level on this page.

For first-time users password = 123456.

How to reset the password?

If you forgot your password then there is a password reset facility available on the login page. Please follow the below steps to create a new password.

  1. Visit the login page of the UDS student portal.
  2. Click the “I Forgot my password” link on the login page or visit the password reset page directly at http://udsmis.com/students/recoverpassword.
  3. Enter your student ID in the first section and enter your email address or phone number.
  4. Press the Submit button.
  5. You will get further instructions to reset and create a new password on your email address or phone number whichever you entered.
  6. You can now easily create a new password.

UDS Student Portal Freshers Student Login

If you are a new student and are not able to log in directly to your account then you will have to use the alternate link to access your account. Newly admitted students can follow the below steps to log in and manage their accounts online.

  • Visit the student portal web page https://mis.uds.edu.gh/signin.
  • Click the “Link for freshers who can not login” located on the login page or visit the https://mis.uds.edu.gh/students/freshuser link directly.
  • Enter your admission number and select postgraduate or undergraduate.
  • Press the Submit button and follow further on-screen instructions.

Once you log in to your student portal, you will see your student dashboard page (as shown below).

You can access the below services through your student dashboard page.

  • Home – The home section shows students their registration status and other information. Click this to check out the current registration information.
  • Check Courses – Students can find the available options for course registration through this link. Students can register for new courses in their program and level on this page.
  • Course Registration – The course registration link will guide students to register for the new courses. Students can click this link if they have to register for any course in their current trimester.
  • Edit Registration – If students want to edit the registered courses then they can do that through the “edit registration” link. Click this option to edit, defer, or remove courses before the registration’s last date. Students will also get the De-register option so that they can register again from the beginning.
  • Provisional Results – All results will be published on the UDS student portal before the final publication. Students can check the provisional results for any trimester early that are verified by the appropriate quarters.
  • Final Result – Final results link will show the student’s results along with your CGPAs. Check your results once it has been published on the website.
  • Clearance – Once students complete their studies at the university, they can get a clearance certificate from the Clearance link on their student portal dashboard page. Students must pay all types of fees before getting clearance.
  • Assessment Form – Assessment forms are available in this section where students can complete the assessment of the courses they have registered for.
  • Fees Message – Students can find the fee information that they have paid or if any due is still there that they have to pay.
  • Library – Find library resources by clicking the Library link.
  • Change Password – Click the Change Password link and create a new password as per your choice. Students must change their password after some time due to security concerns.
  • Profile Picture – Students can change and upload a new profile picture through this option. The profile picture must be the latest and clear.
  • My Profile – My Profile section on the student’s dashboard page will show the student’s details and contact information such as name, email address, phone number, etc. Students can also edit this information and make appropriate changes to their profile information.
  • Guide – Find the helpful guide from the Guide link.
  • Logout – Log out from your account through this option after finishing your work.

How to Register for Trimester Courses

  • Login to your account at https://mis.uds.edu.gh/signin.
  • Click the Main window
  • Check whether you have courses to register for by clicking Check Courses.
  • Select Course Registration to start the registration process. If the registration session is opened, you will be given the trails and deferred courses page.
  • For fresh students, click Next to proceed. For continuing students, check if you have any trails or defers (click Next to proceed).
  • Core and Elective courses. All courses will be displayed in the following order: course code – course title – credit hours– Register as – scoring

NOTE: Course registration will be available throughout the registration period and will be closed if the period expires. Opportunity may be given for the edit of your registered courses if need be by your department.

How to register a complaint through the UDS MIS student portal?

Students can register a complaint through the student portal. There are different types of issues students may face so an online complaint facility has been made available for the students on the UDS MIS web portal. Please follow the below steps to register your complaint.

  • Visit the official website https://mis.uds.edu.gh/signin.
  • There is a complaint form on the left side of the login form.
  • Enter your user ID and registered email address.
  • Select a topic for the complaint from the Login, Results, Registration, Assessment, and Technical options.
  • Type your message in the next section.
  • Finally, press the Submit button to register your complaint.

There are different types of situations where students face different types of issues. Now all the issues will be resolved online and there is no need to visit any office. Use the online complaint facility if you are also facing any type of the below-mentioned issues.

  1. If you think that your billing or fees are not correct then register a complaint or send an email to [email protected]. Students can also visit the faculty/campus accountant office directly.
  2. I am not trailing in any or one of the courses. Please send a complaint online or directly contact your HoD, Lecturer, or Exams Officer to make corrections or update the results online.
  3. If you find a trial (fail/Defer) course on the student portal but you did not trail that then send a complaint first before registering for that course.
  4. If your records are not available on the student portal then please send a complaint online or send an email by attaching a picture of your student ID card to any of the following email addresses [email protected]; [email protected]; [email protected]
  5. If your courses are not available to register for your trimester then send a complaint online and your HoD will mount your courses online.
  6. If your course credit hours are not correct then submit a complaint online to your HoD through the UDS MIS portal.
