ReadingPlus is based on the reading technology developed 100 years before and works on the groundbreaking innovative technologies Metronoscope, Opthalmograph, VisaScope, and Reading Eye tabletop eye-movement camera.
Earl, James, Carl Taylor, and Stanford “Stan” Taylor were the major contributor to these innovations. Further research has been done and new technologies have been evolved that automatically measure both reading efficiency and proficiency through computer analysis.
In 2003, a web-based version of ReadingPlus was released by Mark Taylor (Stan’s son), and Visagraph III which was a diagnostic component was also integrated with ReadingPlus.
Now ReadingPlus is a leading learning platform that works like an assessment and instructional tool and helps students improve their reading level and fluency and also motivates them to read more.
ReadingPlus also helps in the school’s or district’s literacy assessment through its important features such as reading comprehension, vocabulary, comprehension-based silent reading rate, and motivation.
How to access ReadingPlus Login
All students can educators must have proper access to the portal to access their accounts. Educators will get their login credentials after signing up for an account. Students will get a site code which will be used to access their student accounts.
Apart from the above requirements, a secure and trusted device must be available to login and a secure and updated web browser must be installed on the device. Also, the internet connection must be working properly at the time of login.

Reading Plus login is available for both Educators and students. A valid account will be required to access the ReadingPlus account. Please check the login procedures below.
Reading Plus Student Login

- Click the “Log In” link in the top menu.
- After that, click the “I’m a Student” link on the next page.
- The student login page will appear on the screen (as shown below).
- Enter the Site Code in the given space.
- Click the Next button to access the student account.
After login, the student can access their account dashboard page.
What is a site code?
The Site code will be required to access the student account. Site code is the same for all students in a school and given by the educator to all students. When a student login to the Reading Plus account, a site code will be used to authenticate the student login. It helps to prevent unauthorized access to students’ accounts.
Student can access their account only if the educator issues a site code. If a student forgets the site code then please ask your classmates or teachers. Students can also call to Customer Service team at 1-800-732-3758 option 1 or send an email to [email protected].
Once you enter your site code and access your student account, there is no need to enter the site code for further login.
